Get to know me

I’m Amber, and I'm the (what I hope is a friendly) face behind Amber Walsh Photos.

I've never been good at getting to the point, but I'll do my very best to tell you a little bit about myself without sending you into a deep sleep.

By day I'm a photographer, capturing families exactly as they are; the wild & wonderful, in-between moments that you just can't get from an iPhone. But if I'm honest, while I really love taking photographs, my favourite job is doing life (prison pun not intended) with the two small children I have of my own.

As a mum myself, I know all too well how fast time flies and the importance of freezing the moment. So I always make it my mission to capture the lump-in-your-throat kind of photos you deserve.

I always dreamt of working in an environment where I can meet new people, and it's no secret that I love to talk, so to be able to do something that allows me to make new friends, learn about peoples' lives and provide them with a gallery of photos that will be looked at by generations to come, well, I feel like I've won the job lottery.
